Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Mpoint Analytics collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with our Contact Research, Location Discovery, Business Intelligence, Territory Intelligence, and Custom Research services.
Last updated: June 1, 2026
1. Information We Collect
Mpoint Analytics collects only the information necessary to provide our services, fulfill orders, communicate with customers, process payments, and comply with our legal obligations. The categories of information we collect are described in the sections that follow and generally include account credentials, order details, business contact information, billing data processed by our payment provider, email communications you initiate with us, and limited technical information generated when you visit our website.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our services are intended for use by businesses and business professionals.
2. Customer Accounts
When you create an account with Mpoint Analytics, we collect the information needed to establish and maintain that account, including your name, business email address, and authentication credentials. If you choose to add additional profile details such as your company name or role, that information is stored with your account.
Account information is used to authenticate you, associate orders and deliveries with your account, provide customer support, and send service-related notifications. Account data is not included in, sold as, or used to enrich any dataset offered to other customers.
3. Order Information
When you place an order for Contact Research, Location Discovery, Business Intelligence, Territory Intelligence, or Custom Research, we collect the details required to fulfill that order. This typically includes the requested industry, geography (such as state, county, or city), quantity, target criteria, the delivery email address you specify, and any notes or special instructions you provide.
Order information is used to produce and deliver the dataset or research you purchased, communicate fulfillment status, resolve support requests, and maintain accurate business and tax records.
4. Contact Information
When you contact Mpoint Analytics through our website forms, request a custom research quote, or email us directly, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, business email address, company name, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry, follow up on requested quotes, and maintain a record of our communications with you.
5. Payment Information
Payments for Mpoint Analytics services are processed by our third-party payment processor. Payment card numbers, CVC codes, and full bank account details are submitted directly to the payment processor and are not stored on Mpoint Analytics systems.
Mpoint Analytics receives and retains limited transaction metadata necessary to confirm and account for your order, such as the order amount, currency, transaction identifier, payment status, and the billing name and email associated with the transaction.
6. Stripe Processing
Mpoint Analytics uses Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") as its payment processor. When you complete a purchase, your payment information is collected and processed by Stripe under Stripe's own privacy and security practices. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor and acts as an independent controller of the payment information it receives directly from you.
Mpoint Analytics receives from Stripe only the information required to confirm and reconcile your order, including payment status, amount, currency, and a transaction identifier. We do not have access to your full payment card number. Your use of the Stripe checkout is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which we encourage you to review.
7. Email Communications
Mpoint Analytics sends transactional emails related to your use of our services, including account verification and password reset messages, order confirmations, payment confirmations, fulfillment updates, delivery notifications, and responses to support inquiries. These messages are required to operate the service and are sent to the email address associated with your account or order.
We may also send occasional service announcements relevant to active customers. We do not sell or rent customer email addresses to third parties. If we offer optional marketing communications in the future, you will be able to opt out at any time through an unsubscribe link contained in those messages.
9. Data Storage
Customer account information, order records, communications, and delivery files are stored on managed cloud infrastructure operated by reputable providers that maintain industry-standard physical, network, and operational security controls. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel who require it to operate, support, or maintain the service.
Delivered datasets are made available to you through secure, time-limited download links accessible from your customer dashboard.
10. Data Retention
Mpoint Analytics retains customer information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support legitimate business needs, including providing customer support, resolving disputes, maintaining accurate financial and tax records, preventing fraud, and complying with applicable legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us. Certain records — such as transaction records required for accounting and tax compliance — may be retained for the period required by law even after an account is closed.
11. Customer Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights with respect to the personal information we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, update, port, or request deletion of that information, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information at the bottom of this policy. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
12. Third-Party Providers
Mpoint Analytics relies on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the service. These providers include our cloud infrastructure and database provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and our transactional email delivery provider. Each provider receives only the information necessary to perform its function and is contractually obligated to protect that information and to use it solely for the purposes of providing services to Mpoint Analytics.
We do not authorize our service providers to sell customer information or to use it for their own marketing purposes.
13. Security
Mpoint Analytics employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards include encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit, encryption at rest provided by our infrastructure providers, role-based access controls, authenticated customer dashboards, signed and time-limited download links for delivered files, and verified server-to-server processing of payment events.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.
